The Saturnalia Industrialis body of work is based on how some insect species, especially moths and butterflies, adapt to and reflect the changes in their environment very quickly. The brooches and prints in the series contemplate what kinds of forms and patterns in winged insects might we see in the distant future, as a result of urban and industrial environments merging with nature.
